Set Up Your Gemini API Key

Open Google AI Studio on your iPad, create an API key, and register it in the app.

Tap the “Google AI Studio” button in the app, then follow the steps below.

Tap “Create API key”

When the Google AI Studio “API Keys” page opens, tap “Create API key” in the upper-right corner.

Check the details and tap “Create key”

Check the key name and project, then tap “Create key” in the lower-right corner. You can use the name already shown.

Copy the API key

Tap the copy icon to the right of “API Key.” The key will be copied to your iPad clipboard.

Return to the app in FileMaker Go

After copying the key, you do not need to close Google AI Studio. Return to FileMaker Go and tap the green “paste API key” button.

How to return: Slowly swipe up from the bottom edge of the iPad screen to display the Dock, then tap the FileMaker Go icon. If a link to return to FileMaker Go appears at the top or upper-left of the screen, you can tap that instead.

Confirm that the API key is registered

If black dots appear in the field, the API key has been pasted successfully. A script will run automatically and open the “User Master Registration” screen.

Continue on the “User Master Registration” screen
and enter the user’s information.
